Install Brother HL-L2340DW Printer in 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04

The Linux support pages from the Brother website state “ia32-libs or lib32stdc++” are required for Ubuntu 64-bit installations.

Install lib32stdc++ using:

sudo apt-get install lib32stdc++6

If necessary, continue by installing the LPR and CUPS drivers (also available from the Brother website).  For example:

• brgenml1lpr-3.1.0-1.i386.deb
• brgenml1cupswrapper-3.1.0-1.i386.deb
